What a day it was on the fairways! With temperatures soaring past 31°C, this year’s Golf Day was as hot as a freshly struck drive down the middle — and the competition was just as fierce. From tee to green, players kept their cool (mostly) and delivered some truly par-fect performances.
Morning Scramble Results
The day teed off with the 9-hole scramble, and it was Team Jutebag who stitched together a winning performance — no loose threads in that scorecard!
Team PF Concepts followed closely behind, securing Runner Up honours after a solid start to the day.
Afternoon 4-Ball Betterball
As the sun continued to blaze, the afternoon session brought out even more brilliance. Team DTB (consisting of Mike White, Kustom Kit, Stuart Sheppard BDA, Lloyd Simpson LSI and Clive Allcott DTB) came up clutch to take the win — clearly in the swing of things!
The Merchandise Lab weren’t far behind, finishing as Runners Up after a strong showing across the course.
Special Prizes
Longest Drive: A monster hit from James Allcott, who absolutely drove it home.
Nearest the Pin: Sharp shooting from Elliot Sampson, Lloyd Simpson, James Brown, and Matt Pluckrose, all showing pinpoint precision when it mattered most.
Matt Lawrence, Scott Brimmell, Aiden Brown, Dan Rogers, Nick Roberts, Simon Coy, Josh Stephenson and James Allcott managed to beat the on-site pro.
Despite the heat, spirits stayed high, swings stayed smooth (for the most part!), and the day was a real hole-in-one for everyone involved. Thanks to all who took part — we’re already looking forward to next year, where we’ll no doubt raise the bar… or should we say par even further!
Individual Glory
Taking top honours, Lloyd Simpson clinched the Individual Champion title with a round to remember — talk about keeping it below par under pressure!
Hot on his heels was Aiden Brown, our Runner Up, who pushed all the way and made Lloyd work for that win.
