The Nottinghamshire Golf and Spa Hosts Successful 2024 BPMA Golf Day

On Thursday, 27th June 2024, the Nottinghamshire Golf and Spa experienced yet another thrilling BPMA Golf Day, building on the success of previous years. The event, held under perfect summer skies and a refreshing light breeze, brought together industry professionals for a day of friendly competition, networking, and camaraderie. Participants met for breakfast and coffee, then showcased their golfing prowess on the challenging yet picturesque courses, followed by an enjoyable dinner to round the day off.

Highlights of the Day

Nearest the Pin Competitions

Chris Green (Team Involution) demonstrated exceptional precision on the par-3 holes, securing one of the nearest the pin accolades.

Paul Lee (Team Merchandise Lab) continued fine form, clinching another nearest the pin title with a remarkable shot.

Nathan Cookson (Team Involution) proved his consistency and skill, adding another nearest the pin victory to his name.

Nic Taylor (Team Desktop Ideas) displayed fine accuracy, earning a nearest the pin recognition.

Longest Drive

Tristan Wright (Team Impression Europe) showcased power and technique by winning the longest drive competition, sending the ball down the fairway with impressive distance and control.

Team Competitions

Winners of the 9-hole BPMA Scramble: The Merchandise Lab Team, consisting of Elliot Sampson, Paul Lee, Matt Lawrence and Nick Baker, emerged victorious. Teamwork and strategic play secured them the top spot in a fun and challenging format.

Runners-Up in the 4-Ball Better Ball: The DTB White Team, featuring Clive Allcott, Oliver Simpson (LSI), Lloyd Simpson (LSI), and Ben Lowes (Crystal Galleries), put in a strong performance to finish in second place.

Winners in the 4-Ball Better Ball: Team Involution, Nathan Cookson, Marc Read, Chris Green, and James Rahill, took home the trophy with cohesive play and coordination.

Individual Awards

Individual Champion: Paul Lee (Team Merchandise Lab) with skill and consistency throughout the day, earned the title of Individual Champion.

Individual Runner-Up: Nick Baker (Team Merchandise Lab) closely followed, showcasing talent and determination to secure the second spot.

Wooden Spoon by Tesco: Paul Maye (XD Connects) received the light-hearted Wooden Spoon award, embodying the spirit of participation and enjoyment of the game.
