The BPMA are delighted to form a new partnership with ACID!

The BPMA and Anti Copying in Design (ACID) are excited to launch a partnership to ensure Intellectual Property (IP) is supported and respected throughout the promotional merchandise industry.

ACID is a trade association for designers and manufacturers with a diverse membership ranging from individuals to multinationals, spanning many different sectors. The organisation is committed to fighting design theft and lobbying Parliament for design law reform. ACID members have access to free benefits, including access to initial free advice from specialist IP Legal Affiliates, and unlimited use of the ACID IP Databank to help protect their IP Rights. ACID's key objectives are protection, deterrence, and education -enabling originators to fully exploit and maximise their IP Rights.

Phil Goodman, BPMA CEO said, We are committed to ensuring our members maintain the highest industry standards. Our partnership with ACID will enable all members to access the highest quality Intellectual Property advice, helping them to keep at the forefront of our wonderful industry.

Laura Newbold Breen, ACID CEO said, This is a fantastic opportunity to continue the BPMA's fantastic reputation for building trust and compliance within the promotional merchandise sector by bringing IP into the mix of their already great offering. It is another area where we can really bolster our creative industries with IP support, advice and education, and keep growing this invaluable area of our UK economy. I'm really excited to see our relationship with the BPMA develop.

As part of our new partnership, ACID are offering all BPMA members a 20% discount on their membership fees. Members can learn more about ACID membership and access this offer here.
