Congratulations to all BPMA Award winners who were recognised at the Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday evening, hosted at CBS Arena in Coventry.
Fresh from Day 1 of Merchandise World, the promotional merchandise industry gathered for a sparkling evening of celebration at the CBS Arena. Guests from across the UK, Europe, and the US reconnected over drinks, setting the stage for a night to remember.
The spotlight shone on the winners of the BPMA Annual Awards. The Awards also recognised independently judged member marketing campaigns and celebrated “the best of British” with the coveted BRIMAN Award.
These prestigious awards wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors. A heartfelt thank you to Geiger, BIC Graphic, Impression Europe, Preseli, PF Concept, Direct Textiles & Bags, XD Connects, and the BRIMAN Group for sponsoring the award categories. The stunning trophies were supplied by Special EFX. To top it all off, Victorinox ensured the evening was celebrated in style with petits fours and The Sweet People added a delicious touch to the evening with after-dinner chocolates.
BPMA Chairman Clive Allcott and ex-Chair Haydn Willetts set the tone for an electric evening, kicking things off with warm thanks to all attendees before diving into the first award.
The Supplier of the Year (up to £2m) category was up first, with a strong lineup of finalists: Desktop Ideas Ltd, CHX Products, Just Pads Ltd and Logobugs Plus Ltd. The winner? Desktop Ideas Ltd, taking the crown with the most votes.
Next came Supplier of the Year (£2m-£5m). Finalists included WCM+A Ltd, Preseli Ltd Keramikos, Bagco Ltd, but it was Preseli Ltd who emerged victorious, earning their well-deserved accolade.
In the fiercely contested Supplier of the Year (£5m-£10m) category, Bizz Badge, Castelli Milano 1938 Limited, Impression Europe Ltd and The Outdoors Company UK Ltd battled it out. Ultimately, it was Impression Europe Ltd who claimed the win, celebrating a fantastic achievement.
Finally, the spotlight turned to the Supplier of the Year (over £10m) category, sponsored by Geiger. This heavyweight category featured The Pen Warehouse, Laltex Group, PF Concept UK Ltd and XD Connects as finalists. In the end, it was Laltex Group who took to the stage, lifting their award to resounding applause.
The spotlight shifted to the Distributor Awards with fierce competition this year.
First up was Distributor of the Year (up to £500k), with finalists Chilli Promotional Products, Ellenell Ltd, Vibrant Colour and MerchExpress Ltd on the edge of their seats. Cheers erupted as Chilli Promotional Products claimed the first distributor award of the night.
Next, the £500k-£1m category, sponsored by BIC Graphics, featured strong contenders: Trade Gift Solutions, Manic Merchandise, ASP Promotions and Boosters Ltd. Ultimately, Manic Merchandise clinched the win, much to the delight of their team.
In the £1m-£3m turnover category, sponsored by Preseli, finalists Ross Promotional Products Ltd, Project Agency Ltd t/a Project Merchandise, Pro-Ad Ltd and Mojo Promotions Ltd eagerly awaited the result. It was Mojo Promotions Ltd who took home the award, earning well-deserved applause.
After a dinner break that buzzed with anticipation, it was time for the evening’s final awards, including the much-anticipated Product Awards Grand Prix and BPMA Recognition Award.
In the £3m-£5m category, sponsored by Impression Europe, finalists Big Bear Promo Ltd, Galpeg, TC Branding Group Ltd and Pellacraft Limited waited with bated breath. TC Branding Group Ltd celebrated their victory with a leap onto the stage.
For the £5m-£10m turnover category, sponsored by PF Concept, finalists Allwag Promotions Ltd, Premier Print & Promotions Ltd, Pinksheep Marketing Ltd and Lsi Limited vied for the award. The cheers were loud as Allwag Promotions Ltd emerged victorious.
The final award of the evening, Distributor of the Year (£10m+), sponsored by Direct Textiles & Bags, saw finalists Geiger, Fluid Branding Ltd, Total Merchandise Ltd and 4imprint eagerly awaiting the big reveal. 4imprint took the crown, earning a standing ovation to close out the evening in style.
The Distributor and Supplier Marketing Campaign of the Year Awards brought creativity to the forefront. Clive Allcott shared the judges’ insights, celebrating the industry’s passion for brilliant ideas before announcing the winners.
For the Distributor of the Year Marketing Campaign, sponsored by XD Connects, finalists included Wild Thang with Birthday Celebrations – Iconic Brand entry, Event Merchandising with ITV Merchandising, Orb Group with Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Summer 2024 and Geiger with Geiger & Alzheimer’s Society. The winner? Event Merchandising, taking the award for their innovative ITV Merchandising campaign.
In the Supplier Marketing Campaign of the Year category, finalists showcased standout work: Victorinox with Made to be Prepared, Goldstar with Colours Inspired by Nature, and Kingly Ltd with Unwrap the Magic of Upcycled Knitwear and Tech Merchandise with Certified Recycled Plastic Tech. Victorinox clinched the top spot with Made to be Prepared.
The coveted BRIMAN Award spotlighted distributors championing British-made products. Judged by BRIMAN members, the award went to Total Merchandise for a second year running, whose dedication to promoting UK-made products earned them this Brit-centric honour.
As the evening progressed, the excitement peaked with the Product Awards Grand Prix, awarded to the standout entry among all Platinum Product Award winners. This year’s title went to PF Concept for their Stanley Quencher H2.0 Tumbler, celebrated with thunderous applause from the delighted audience.
The final accolade, the BPMA Recognition Award, acknowledged outstanding contributions to the industry. Presented by the BPMA Board, this year’s honour went to Debbie Willsmer, Managing Director of Willsmer Wagg, for her tireless dedication to the sector.
The evening concluded in style with lively conversation, music, and dancing. While some sore heads might have carried into Day 2 of Merchandise World, this unforgettable event celebrated another exceptional year for the promotional merchandise sector.
