Terms and Conditions of Factory Visit Registration and Attendance

  1. Booking and Deposit

1.1 A deposit of £25 per attendee is required to secure a booking for each event.
1.2 Bookings are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received by the BPMA.
1.3 Deposits must be paid for each individual attendee registered.

  1. Deposit Refund Policy

2.1 The deposit will be refunded to attendees who attend the event for which they are registered.
2.2 The deposit is non-refundable in the following circumstances:

  • The attendee does not attend the event (no-show).
  • The registered attendee or business cancels their attendance within three weeks of the event date.

2.3 Refunds will be processed within a reasonable period following the event and returned via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

  1. Cancellations and Substitutions

3.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to education@bpma.co.uk.
3.2 Substitutions may be permitted at the organiser’s discretion, provided written notice is received prior to the event.
3.3 The organiser reserves the right to refuse substitutions that do not meet event eligibility requirements.

  1. Attendance and Conduct

4.1 Attendees are expected to arrive on time and conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the event.
4.2 The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

  1. Changes to the Event

5.1 The organiser reserves the right to amend the event programme, location, date, or timing where necessary.
5.2 If the event is cancelled by the organiser, deposits will be refunded in full. The organiser shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by attendees.

  1. Agreement to Terms

6.1 By completing and submitting the registration form, the attendee (or registering business) confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
