On 24th July 2025, the BPMA proudly hosted its first in-person graduation ceremony since the pandemic, recognising the achievements of its Education Programme Learners. Held at the iconic Riverside Terrace within the Houses of Parliament, the event marked a significant milestone in the Association’s ongoing commitment to professional development within the promotional merchandise industry.
Over 70 graduates and guests gathered to celebrate the successful completion of the BPMA’s now CPD-accredited qualifications, including the Trained in Promotional Merchandise (TPM) and Certified in Promotional Merchandise (CPM) programmes. The setting offered a fitting backdrop for an afternoon of formal recognition, celebration and networking.
The day commenced with a welcome reception and champagne networking, setting a celebratory tone. BPMA CEO Phil Goodman opened the ceremony with a speech that highlighted the perseverance and dedication shown by all the graduates. “Passing both the TPM and CPM is an achievement that merits an occasion to acknowledge and celebrate,” he said. “It was great to be able to bring back this event and provide graduates with a memorable experience that will be cherished.”
Following the welcome, certificates were presented to successful graduates, with an opportunity for commemorative photographs to mark the occasion. Guests were then invited to continue networking while enjoying canapés and a traditional glass of Pimm’s, rounding off a memorable afternoon that recognised both individual accomplishment and collective industry progress.
The BPMA’s education programme is designed to support learners at every stage of their career in promotional merchandise, from those new to the industry to experienced professionals seeking to enhance their credentials.
