On 18th December 2025 the Employment Rights Act 2025 became law, introducing a significant reform in UK worker employment rights taking place over the next 2 years.

Please note –

  • This does not replace the Employment Rights Act 1996, it runs in parallel
  • Employment Law for Northern Ireland is devolved, independent updates for NI are expected to be announced
