Salary: £26,000 per annum
Working Hours: 9am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri

Reports to: Head of Sales Support and Vendor Relations

Job Overview:
This person will provide administrative support to our Branding Consultants (BC) and work on a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. The Ideal candidate must have a high level of energy and professionalism, think critically, feel confident and comfortable handling multiple tasks, and not be afraid to ask questions. They must have superior reading comprehension and the ability to reorganise information to be more concise and efficient. They must also have excellent customer service skills, strong written/verbal skills, be extremely detail-oriented, and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

BC support provided will be determined by the Head of Sales Support and Vendor Relations. ABC’S will be proactive in assisting their BC with new ideas to boost business.

We require our Assistant Branding Consultant to maintain and develop good working relationships with team members, customers, 3-PL and suppliers alike.

Core Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
SALES SUPPORT
PRE-SALE

  • Learn industry /company strategy on pricing and markups
  • Source products and gain quotations from suppliers
  • Place and track sample orders through to client/Nadel office delivery
  • Coordinate with Nadel Stakeholders as needed (US & UK BC, BAC, BAS), Nadel UK Finance and Operations Teams)
  • Ensure production artwork is outlined and feasible to use
  • Coordinate art from factory to client
  • Ensure all products sourced carry the relevant compliance and safety certifications

PRODUCTION

  • Enter and track new orders
  • Contact factory to ensure that PO has been received
  • Crosscheck factory order confirmation against Nadel PO to ensure pricing, shipping, information and decoration description match up
  • Receive the art proof from the factory, ensure all specifications are correct (if pre-production sample, manage approval and ensure match all specifications)
  • Hide vendor information in all client interaction, e.g. proofs.
  • Notify factory of client approval or client request for revisions
  • Obtain shipping date and notify client of shipping date
  • Organise deliveries to the final destination, raise delivery notes and ensure sent to suppliers ahead of the despatch date
  • Share tracking with client
  • Track order until delivered, obtain and share POD with clients including number of boxes delivered
  • Update order detail and send to accounts for billing
  • Ensure all suppliers invoices have been received and match PO raised
  • Notify BC of any problems or issues with the order – BC to resolve and provide direction. Raise a non-conformity
  • Request credit notes from suppliers when relevant
  • Ensure if an issue with an order that the factory invoice is put on hold for payment
  • Update status of quotations/sales orders/vendors POs/projects on ERP system
  • Maintain regular communication with BC with open order status reporting
  • Raise fulfilment orders and manage the process with all parties

eStore Content Management Systems

  • Follow warehouse booking-in procedures, work on SKU creation with our Operations team
  • Ensure products are live on our E-stores within 48 hours of being delivered to the 3-PL, escalate delays to the Operations team
  • Ensure the quality and branding of products and that visuals on Nadel stores are on brand and consistent globally and compliant
  • Liaise with photographer, provide branded samples, and manage photos order
  • Maintain a database of SKUs with quantities and prices for re-orders
  • Assist with updating store programmes with product information

OFFICE PARTICIPATION

  • Support fellow team members during times of high volume
  • Structure PowerPoint presentation of suitable ideas/ products
  • Brainstorm new, exciting ideas – be at the forefront of what is trendy and cutting edge
  • Attend industry exhibitions and suppliers’ meetings to ensure a good knowledge of products

SOURCING, SELF-PROMO AND SUPPORTING HEAD OF SALES SUPPORT & VENDOR RELATIONS

  • Brainstorm new, exciting ideas – be at the forefront of what is trendy and cutting edge
  • Attend industry exhibitions and suppliers’ meetings to ensure a good knowledge of proucts
  • Negotiate terms (including prices, delivery times) with suppliers
  • Assist with onboarding new suppliers
  • Responsible for keeping Nadel’s supplier database up to date
  • Create reports on information gathered at industry shows and supplier meetings
  • Learn industry /company strategy on pricing and markups
  • Source products from industry suppliers and retails brands
  • Place and track sample orders through to client/Nadel office delivery
  • Structure and present PowerPoint presentations of suitable ideas/ products
  • Onboard new suppliers in line with Nadel’s buying policy and compliance criteria
  • Suggest & organise product of the month (Self-Promotion) including e-shots (with Lindsey)
  • Ensure all vendors are socially responsible and ethical
  • Keep up to date with industry news across all the regions in which we operate (EMEA)
  • Organise suppliers’ meetings

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, think critically, manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • Must be highly detail oriented and very organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment while following tasks through to completion
  • Advanced reading comprehension
