Position: Sustainability Expert

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sustainability Expert to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

– *Compliance Management*: Handle all compliance tasks related to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Global Recycled Standard (GRS), SMETA Pillar 4, OEKO-TEX, and other relevant audits.
– *Lifecycle Analysis*: Oversee our cradle-to-gate sustainability system, ensuring every product’s lifecycle is assessed for environmental impact.
– *Sustainability Reporting*: Create and manage the annual sustainability report, aiming for our goal of being plastic-free by December 31, 2024.
– *Educational Initiatives*: Develop and deliver sustainability education programmes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed about our sustainability practices.
– *Storytelling and Case Studies*: Manage and communicate sustainability stories and case studies to promote Kingly’s eco-friendly initiatives.
– *Event Participation*: Represent Kingly at trade shows and other industry events to showcase our sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

– *Attitude and Spirit*: While extensive experience is not required, we value a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
– *Team Player*: Ability to work collaboratively within a team. At Kingly, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.
– *Education*: Relevant educational background in sustainability, environmental science, audits or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
