Position Overview
We are seeking proactive and driven Field Sales Executive to join our team, covering the North of England. As the Field Sales Executive you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and generating new business in your territory, primarily through customer visits – traveling directly from your place of residence. You will be used to an exciting, fast paced environment and relish the opportunity to grow your own customer base quickly.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs and providing customised solutions to meet those needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new markets and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including production and customer services, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure your diary is planned and filled with customer visits 3-4 weeks in advance, with your admin day scheduled on Fridays.
- Attend the office once a month for a debrief (if working in the North/Midlands).
Essential Attributes
- Applicants must have at least two year’s field sales experience, preferably B2B
- Be used to working to target within a fast-moving environment.
- Have the ability to influence decision makers.
- Be able to work within budgets as set by senior management.
- Possess the ability to “think outside the box” and help generate sales ideas.
- Must be happy to work to a flexible timescale around our customers.
- You will be engaging, well presented and articulate.
- You will be good with numbers and technology as both skills are required during customer visits to ensure timely responses.
- You will be comfortable producing and presenting creative ideas to keep your customers engaged.
