Show pushes the boundaries

A major promotional / wearables trade show exhibition staged at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire Cricket Club was declared a success by suppliers and distributor visitors alike.

The BIG New Products Trade Show and The BIG Wearables Trade Show set up for business in Lancashire Cricket Club’s impressive events venue The Point, featuring a panoramic view on to the famous pitch.

The result was hailed as a ‘straight six’ by both visitors and exhibitors.

Steven Johnson of Indigo Promotions said: “It’s a great show, and a local one for us, so it’s a good chance to chat to suppliers and get to see what’s new in person.”

Mick Humphries and colleagues from TC Branding travelled all the way up from Sussex for the show. Mick said: “This isn’t a show we normally come to but it’s been brilliant. A nice and intimate atmosphere, and lots of ideas for the gifting season.”

Brand Addition’s Abi Robinson commented: “I think it’s even busier than last time, and I’ve enjoyed catching up with our suppliers and seeing new products.”

Exhibitor Andrew Williams of Laltex Group Promotional Merchandise added: “We’ve experienced a real rush on our stand this morning – it’s one of the biggest shows we do and it’s on home turf, which makes it even better!”

Another local, Peter Hackin from Hackin Limited, summed it all up: “Really nice show – great venue and ambience.”

Winner of the best promo stand at the show award was USB2U while BELLA+CANVAS collected the best wearables stand award. Tom Robey from the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) presented the awards to Andy Gossage (l) and Zazie Hillsden (r). The awards were sponsored by Crystal Galleries Ltd.

A big thank you to all who exhibited and attended this year!
