TC Branding, BPMA member and passionate supporter of A Good Thing, has once again demonstrated the power of promotional merchandise when combined with a sustainable mindset.
The Sussex-based branded merchandise company has made two impactful donations through the A Good Thing platform – first by supplying 280 brand-new sports bottles, and more recently, 40 surplus book bags – to community organisations across the south east of England.
Fiona Andrews, Procurement Manager at TC Branding, shared: “We usually donate brand-new, non-branded goods that are surplus stock. As a company, we are fully supportive of A Good Thing and the platform is really easy to use.”
The 280 sports bottles were distributed between Soul Purpose 360 in Surrey and Sedsconnective in Horsham, helping both charities support hydration and wellbeing in their communities.

Palma Black, Founder of Soul Purpose 360, said: “Collecting was easy. On arrival, I was met at the warehouse, and the boxes were loaded into my car with a smile and heaps of gratitude that they were going to good use, rather than landfill.”
At Sedsconnective, a charity that supports neurodivergent individuals, the bottles were especially well received. Founder Jane said: “We need to hydrate a lot due to our health issues, so it was delightful to have some of the bottles. So far everyone has been very appreciative of them.”
Shortly after, TC Branding followed up with a donation of 40 book bags to The Sid Youth CIC, a Worthing-based organisation offering youth clubs, mentoring and alternative provision for local young people.

Paul Read, Director and Programme Lead at The Sid Youth CIC, explained the real value of this seemingly simple item: “The bags have been fantastic for the young people who attend our alternative provision. They have provided somewhere where the students can keep all their work and iPads together. This may seem like a small thing to some, but (as a CIC) being able to source items we need or that can benefit our young people is really helpful.”
Fiona added: “There are so many excellent charities who are in need of support: it’s wonderful that A Good Thing puts companies like ours in touch with them so we can support in this way.”
