Following a vote on 14th November 2024, a 12-month extension to the EUDR deadline for businesses has been approved by the EU Parliament.
Large businesses now have until 30th December 2025 to comply with the regulation, and SME’s now have until 30th June 2026.
The EU defines a large business as having 250 or more staff, and a turnover greater than €50m. An SME has less than 250 staff, and a turnover less than €50m.
