Monday 20th July, London: Pinksheep is now a Certified B Corporation™, recognising its commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
The certification follows an 18-month assessment process and marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing mission to create positive impact through merchandise.
Founded in 2013 by Phil Law and Billy Gubby, Pinksheep has grown into a technology-enabled merchandise solutions partner, working with brands including Amazon, AWS, Bupa, Canva, EDF Energy, Goodyear, Hiscox, Klaviyo, Octopus Energy, Starling Bank, Uber, Vaillant and many more.
The business has consistently invested in sustainability initiatives, responsible sourcing and innovative technology, designed to help clients make more informed merchandise decisions.
In recent years, Pinksheep launched Ora, its sustainability platform that enables brands to understand the environmental impact of their merchandise purchases while supporting initiatives such as tree planting and ocean-bound plastic recovery. The company also achieved Platinum EcoVadis status, placing it among the top 1% of companies globally for sustainability performance.
Commenting on the achievement, Phil Law, co-founder and sales director, Pinksheep, said:
“From the day we started Pinksheep, we believed merchandise could be re-imagined and done differently. Over the years we’ve challenged ourselves to continually raise the standards of what a merchandise partner should be.
Achieving B Corp™ certification is an important milestone because it independently validates the values and principles that have guided our business for many years. This isn’t the finish line, it’s another step forward in our commitment to creating positive impact for our clients, our people, our suppliers and the planet.”
Billy Gubby, co-founder and head of operations, Pinksheep, added:
“Going through the process to become B Corp™ certified has encouraged us to look closely at every part of our business and identify opportunities to improve. The process has strengthened our operations, challenged our thinking, and reinforced our belief that commercial success and positive impact can go hand in hand.
We’re incredibly proud of our team for helping us achieve this milestone.”
Pinksheep meets B Lab’s integrated social, environmental, and governance standards.
This embeds our purpose and plans for positive impact in our company DNA, so that we’re aware of our impact on people and the planet.
As a Certified B Corporation™, we’re proud to be part of a collective of companies working together for change and taking part in collective action to advocate for a shared goal of a global economy that benefits people and the planet.
