Premier P&P: Protecting People And The Planet

News . 2nd May 2025

BPMA member Premier Print & Promotions Ltd (Premier P&P) is setting an inspiring standard for sustainability in the promotional merchandise industry. Through the A Good Thing (UK) platform, the certified B-corp firm has donated plenty of surplus merchandise to many worthy causes over the years.

In a major donation in late 2024, the company gave hundreds of items—including notebooks, mouse mats, bags, caps, water bottles, and more—to charities such as YMCA England & Wales, Mistley Kids Club and Women of Grace UK.

YMCA used the items to support fundraising across its network of 84 local centres, which serve over 400,000 young people annually. Mistley Kids Club, a charity supporting over 500 children, many with special educational needs, received notebooks, pens, and bottles to support its arts and crafts activities.

Women of Grace UK, supporting women affected by trauma and gender-based violence, integrated the donated goods into its recovery workshops and wellbeing sessions.

Managing Director Ryan Askew discussed his reasons for supporting the platform: “We found A Good Thing a while back while looking for ways to be more sustainable and reduce waste, because, let’s be honest, no one likes seeing perfectly good stuff go to waste! The idea of connecting businesses with charities to give unused items a new home really clicked with us. It’s such a simple but powerful way to make a difference.”

Apprentice Sustainability Coordinator Jack Coulson added: “We listed what we had, and before we knew it, everything was going to someone who needed it more than we ever did. It felt great knowing our surplus was making a real difference.”
