The BPMA Annual Conference returned with impact on Wednesday 17th June 2026. This year, the association’s conference moved to a brand-new venue in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Fawsley Hall provided a stunning backdrop for a day that sparked both curiosity and collaborative conversation.
The conference featured three breakout room sessions running parallel throughout the day, a format that was successfully introduced at the association’s 2025 conference. Attendees were able to select from a range of sessions, encouraging greater topic choice and engagement.

The day began with a networking breakfast, giving delegates the chance to connect before the conference programme began. The conference was opened by BPMA Chair Clive Allcott and BPMA CEO Phil Goodman, who shared an update on the Association’s recent work, which included its strengthened partnership with PPAI and EAC commitments, as well as two big initiatives planned to launch this summer. The first being the delivery of the Global Impact Survey in August 2026 and the second, the launch of an integrated, global marketing campaign with the intention of elevating merchandise across the industry and into the end-user community.
The morning’s breakout room sessions then began where attendees and speakers headed to the relevant rooms. The morning’s sessions included talks on AI for Promotional Merchandisers, Diversity in the Workplace and EUDR compliance. After a short coffee break, sessions resumed for insights on Managing Gen Z, Digital Product Passports and Creating Menopause-Inclusive Workplaces.

This year’s conference saw the introduction of supplier and distributor forums, offering attendees the chance to share their views on BPMA priorities leading into 2027 and beyond. Topics included BPMA led industry relevant AI, research, compliance, events and exhibition evolution.
Following a buffet lunch, the afternoon was defined by an electric keynote delivered by Fredrik Haren, The Creativity Explorer. “The World of Creativity” held the room from start to finish, leaving attendees with insights into creativity and curiosity and plenty to think about.

BPMA CEO Phil Goodman commented on the day: “The quality of the speakers, content and inspiration was exceptional, and the response from all delegates has been tremendous. We have raised the bar on what to expect from the BPMA Annual Conference, and we are already looking ahead to next year. It is truly wonderful to see our members so enthused, animated and inspired at what we can achieve when we come together as an industry.”
The BPMA would like to thank all speakers and attendees for making the day both engaging and informative. The association looks forward to upcoming events later in the year, to find out more, please visit our events page.
