Essex-based distributor, Impamark, is back up and running after its offices and premises were destroyed by fire.
The Burnham-on-Crouch business was affected after a neighbouring unit at its Dammerwick Farm base caught fire on Friday, 24 January.
However, the company was operating again by Monday, 27 January, with staff working remotely until new premises are ready to be used.
Managing director, Nicky Crisp said that despite the shock, the company has swiftly secured new premises, which are expected to be operational in the coming weeks. Impamark is open as usual and orders are not affected by the incident, she stressed.
The support from clients, suppliers, and the local community have been a source of strength she said.
“It has been a shocking weekend and my Impamark team have been amazing. None of this would be possible without their loyalty and support, which I will be forever grateful for,” Crisp said. “We are deeply thankful to the 10 fire crews and 22 fire vehicles from across Essex who worked tirelessly to contain the blaze and protect the surrounding area. Their dedication and bravery were extraordinary.”
Impamark celebrated 55 years of trading last year and has been based on Burnham-on-Crouch since 1975.
The company works with many different industry sectors and specialised markets including the armed forces, universities, colleges and schools, charities, councils, and sports and social clubs.
