The Purple Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Sim Shalom as the new Managing Director, effective 1st January 2026. With over 35 years of experience in the promotional merchandise industry and having worked at The Purple Company for the last 5 years, Sim brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to the role. Prior to joining The Purple Company he held a senior leadership position with one of the largest European manufacturers of promotional drinkware & other merchandise items.

Under Robin’s leadership for the last 21 years, the company experienced sustained growth, innovation, and industry recognition. He played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of The Purple Company, overseeing major milestones including the purchase of Hatton Textiles in 2006 and The Silk Group in 2015.
Robin will now take up the position of Chief Executive Officer, retaining his position as Head of the Board of Directors; overseeing the strategic direction of the company. He comments further that “I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together so far, and am confident the company’s future continues to be in excellent hands.”
